Welcome to Moondog Geckos

We are a pair of reptile hobbyists and enthusiasts in Richmond Virginia. We have some snakes, mostly just colubrids, ball pythons and boas and we also have geckos.  We love all types of geckos, but only keep New Caledonia species.  We will have a few well started pets available each year. Leachie (Rhacodactylus leachianus), Gargoyle (Rhacodactylus Ariculatus) & Crested (Correlophus ciliatus).  We are members and support USARK

After looking at gargoyle geckos for over a year, we took the plunge and haven't looked back. We've slowly expanded into many of the geckos from New Caledonia.  We have limited our geckos to only those found in New Caledonia.

We will occasionally have some well started pets available each year. We focus on structure and colors.  For the crested geckos, we love pinstripes, tricolor and lily whites with large crests and heads.  We will update the AVAILABLE tab when we have geckos or snakes that are ready.

Also the home of A&J Snakes.  We started our hobby with snakes and kept only snakes for years.   We keep just a few multi gene ball pythons. We have a small variety of Okeetee Corns. All of our snakes are beautiful examples of their genes with lovely temperaments and good eaters.  We keep Boa Sigma and Epicrates Cenchria as well.  We may eventually be offering locality specific Boa Sigma (Tarahumara Mountain Boa)
